Request for Assessment of Conferences and Meetings
(SUC Officials and Personnel)
The International Affairs Service (IAS) facilitates attendance of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and/or other education officials in ministerial and other meetings, conferences, and partnerships missions necessitated by authorized international commitments.
In accordance with the issuances on foreign travels by the Office of the President and Other National Government Agencies and ursuant to the government issuances on “Reiterating and Enforcing the Guidelines and Procedures with Respect to Foreign Trips of Government Officials and Personnel Under the Executive Department”, this procedure refers to the assessment of legitimacy of international conferences/meetings per Memorandum from the Commission dated 24 July 2019 titled “Guidelines for Securing Authority to Travel Abroad for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs)”.
