Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) Launches Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2024: Wonderful Folk Tales Indonesia
Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) in Surabaya, Indonesia is excited to announce the launch of Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2024: Wonderful Folk Tales Indonesia. This exciting short program, building on the success of the CommTECH (Community and Technological Camp) program initiated in 2012, offers participants from around the world the chance to delve into the rich tapestry of Indonesian culture.
Explore Indonesian Culture Through Folk Tales
Running from June 24th to July 5th, 2024 (every 14.00 – 17.00 WIB GMT +7), Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2024 focuses on the captivating world of Indonesian folk tales. Participants will gain insights into various aspects of Indonesian culture, including traditional music and dance, regional cultural activities, and cuisine. The program culminates in a Virtual Project Exhibition, where participants showcase their creative interpretations of Indonesian values and culture inspired by the program.
Open to International Participants
This free program is open to non-Indonesian active bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral students, non-academic staff, and faculty/staff from overseas universities. Up to five participants from each university can participate for free, with additional slots available for a fee of USD 50 per person (except for ITS partner universities). The application deadline is June 1st, 2024, with flexible extensions available upon discussion.
