The Philippines through CHED Chairperson Patricia B. Licuanan, formally signed the Letter of Intent (LOI) in April 2013, agreeing to commit to the AIMS Program in order to support student mobility, promote the harmonization of higher education systems in Southeast Asia, and the cultivation of globalized human resources, provide for the sustainable development of the Southeast Asian region, contribute to broader and greater inclusivity through multilateral efforts, and adhere to the above flexibility and consideration of the Program.
