The Commission on Higher Education (CHED), through the International Affairs Service (IAS) and in collaboration with CHED RO VII, successfully conducted the Visayas leg of the Asian Institute of Management Global Academic Leadership Program (AIM GALP) Writeshop, a strategic initiative aimed at advancing internationalization in Philippine higher education institutions (HEIs).

The writeshop was designed to:
• Document success stories and key milestones of the AIM Global Academic Leadership Program (GALP).
• Identify challenges and lessons learned from previous project implementations.
• Generate recommendations to improve the implementation and impact of future CHED-funded programs, particularly those focused on internationalization.
• Enhance the documentation process to enable more effective evaluation of future projects.
• Establish a collaborative platform for knowledge sharing among CHED officials, scholars, and partner institutions.
This event provided a valuable space for critical reflection, collaborative discussions, and strategic planning. With the help of the National Review Committee on CHED- Funded Internationalization Programs (iNRC) ,participants actively engaged in documenting best practices and drawing insights from past experiences, with a shared goal of elevating the global competitiveness of Philippine HEIs.
