Bayanihan Collaborative Open International Learning (COIL) International Mobility in the New Normal: Modernizing the iLab as an Innovative Laboratory for Global Education and Digital Citizenship (iLab)
Higher education institutions, together with CHED will retrofit Bayanihan COIL iLab which will serve as an innovation laboratory for global education and digital citizenship.
Through COIL, the students will be given opportunities for cross-cultural communication and exchange of insights on global issues. This will also serve as a platform for curriculum internationalization and global citizenship.
The iLab project is a set-up of laboratory in PHEIs for crossing the boundaries of international education through the virtual platform, while also enhancing the curriculum as we do the benchmarks and mapping with international partner institutions there enriching, the course learning outcomes.
The iLab is essential in the forming of discernment on the scope and importance of educational technology in the contemporary society characterized by internationalization and global higher education standards. Faculty and students have to develop the right perspective and attitudes towards emerging technologies in order to acquire skills of handling, maintaining and protecting different types of hardware equipment in the Institutions of learning.
