StudyPH ICONS: Study in the Philippines Internationalization Champions of Nation-building and Sustainability
Last 31 August 2022, the International Affairs Service in coordination with CHED Regional Office VI held a A hybrid two-day conference and networking event that refamiliarize the Study in the Philippines Program (StudyPH) grantees and interested proponents on the StudyPH framework and expected outputs moving forward with the implementation of the program. The event was a venue for international benchmarking on sustainable tourism, sharing of the grantees’ good practices during their project implementation journeys, and creating opportunities to boost the promotion and marketing strategies of their projects to both local and international audiences.
Furthermore, through the presentations and discussions, the conference assisted the StudyPH Pool of Experts and Secretariat in crafting the guidelines for the institutionalization of the StudyPH Program. The event was an excellent source of multimodal materials that promoted education tourism as a tourism product with the CHED-HEDF StudyPH Program as an effective platform.
